  2. In a crowded hall with a palpable excitement, the lights dimmed with a cheer from students – the 2017 Talent Quest had begun. After enjoying a BBQ lunch in the courtyard with music and friends, everyone was excited to see the talent that was about to be showcased.
The opening video as usual provided lots of laughs. The crowd were then treated to some excellent acts, including singing from soloists and vocal groups, impressive bands, epic guitar shredding and virtuosic violin playing. The teachers act made a welcomed return as well. Our hosts did an excellent job at engaging the crowd to keep up the momentum of the show.
At the end of the day, it was time to announce the winners, which our three teacher judges had a very difficult time deciding upon.
Thank you to everyone who auditioned, performed and got involved in making this year’s Talent Quest a great success. A shout out to the Tech Crew, who help make everything run smoothly and look amazing on stage.
